Los Angeles based film director Benjamin Louis is known for cutting-edge storytelling and his maverick cinematic style of combining different media formats. He won best director at the Santa Barbara Channel Island Indie Film Festival for his teen suicide drama feature titled "State's Evidence" staring Douglas Smith (Big Little Lies), Alexa Vega (Spy Kids), Majandra Delfino (Roswell), Beth Broderick (Sabrina The Teenage Witch), Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights).
Benjamin believes that regardless of genre, format or budget, great film projects all start with a strong concept and a solid script. Ben uses the old school approach of detailed production planning, rehearsals and story boarding both analog and digital.
In partnership with Night Fox Entertainment, Benjamin recently directed and produced "Stoker Hills", a Mystery Horror with Tony Todd(Candyman), Danny Nucci(Titanic), William Lee Scott(The Butterfly Effect) about three students that went missing while filming a horror movie.
Benjamin is currently in development on multiple film projects.
